Fatigue is a common complaint in multiple sclerosis (MS) and often interferes with daily functioning. Both clinicians and researchers may need to detect high levels of fatigue impact using a time and effort efficient tool. This study evaluates the psychometric properties of a rapid screening instrument for fatigue impact in multiple sclerosis. Fatigue is a critical occupational safety concern for shift workers, especially workers who drive as a profession like we do. Irregular working hours, long shifts, increase drowsiness and reduce alertness. In some situations, fatigue may be deemed to be a significant hazard. The full extent of the fatigue problem is not confirmed, but it’s important to know why your organization’s workers suffer from fatigue. Is it due to job-imposed sleep loss, job-related body-clock disturbances, or poor personal sleep habits?
We can answer these questions for you by using tools that help measure fatigue and advising on a fatigue mitigation strategy that is most suited to your business. We work with you to develop a fatigue risk management approach and implement a continuous improvement process for monitoring and managing fatigue in your organization.


The proposed programmed of works are:
Participants will be able to :
– Identify the main types of manual handling activities in their workplace and apply control measures to minimize of an injury
– Understand and demonstrate correct manual handling and moving, carrying inanimate objects which can caused injuries and safe lifting techniques
– Develop awareness of their responsibilities in the identification of manual handling hazard and the implementation of control measures to manage the risks.
– Develop and implement better practice off fatigue management policies, procedures and processes.
– Analyze work method and work load to gain work efficiency and productivity.
– Well established analysis tools and methodologies to explain the significance of fatigue in the workplace
– Explore the primary determinants of fatigue and provide solution

This Course are subject to meet requirement of SKKNI of K3 from Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi Keselamatan Kesehatan Kerja(LSP-K3)

– Explain the key sections of the manual handling regulations and codes of practice.
– Explain the responsibilities of employees, employees and others in relation to manual handling and injuries.
– Explain how the basic anatomy and physiology of the spine, body posture, type of muscle work and the basic principles of leverage, can be used in the assessment of manual handling tasks.
– Use the general risk identification checklist to identify manual handling tasks likely to provide risk of injury to employees
– Use methodologies outlined in the relevant code of practice to conduct risk assessment and monitor manual handling likely to present risks of injuries in the workplace.
– Develop appropriate procedures and a management control program to monitor, record and reduce the risk of injuries from manual handling in the workplace.
– Using software assessment to scoring the level of risk and to evaluates the psychometric properties of a rapid screening instrument for fatigue impact

Presentations, simulation, case studies, quiz, discussion and scoring analysis assessment.
The course comprises of the following major Components

– Theory section – 10 hrs
– Practical Exercises – 14 hrs

The assessment component will cover each key element contained in the Lesson Plan, the assessment method will involve:
– Scoring /Questionnaire
– Psychological assessment (reaction time)

Training will be delivering in 4 Days (at 09.00 am until 17.00 pm)

Language Used:
