Di Indonesia, IT Master Plan merupakan suatu perencanaan jangka panjang dalam pengembangan sistem informasi guna mendukung visi dan misi perusahaan. IT Master Plan berisi strategi-strategi organisasi atau perusahaan dalam memanfaatkan teknologi informasi sebagai enabler dan menambah keunggulan yang kompetitif. IT Master Plan mambahas mulai dari visi dan misi organisasi atau perusahaan sampai pada perencanaan manajemen proyek IT.
Saat ini, penggunaan Teknologi Informasi (TI) di perusahaan semakin meningkat. Tidak hanya untuk proses operasional sehari-hari, tetapi juga dalam proses pengambilan keputusan. Bahkan, di beberapa sektor industri seperti perbankan dan keuangan ketergantungan pada IT sangat besar.
Namun demikian, perusahaan tidak bisa secara gegabah mengeluarkan investasi untuk implementasi TI. Mereka perlu memperhitungkan biaya (cost) dan manfaat (benefit) yang dihasilkannya. Itulah sebabnya, perusahaan membutuhkan semacam blue print – yang sering disebut IT Master Plan atau IT Strategic Plan – sebagai dasar perusahaan dalam mengimplementasikan IT.
IT Master Plan intinya berisi rencana strategis perusahaan dalam mengimplementasi dan membangun sistem informasi. Di dalamnya memuat pedoman kebutuhan sistem informasi seperti apa yang diperlukan perusahaan. Yang penting dicatat, IT Master Plan merupakan turunan dari Business Plan perusahaan. Alasannya, IT diimplementasikan sebagai tool untuk membantu perusahaan mencapai visi dan misinya. Maka, tanpa ada visi dan misi yang jelas dari perusahaan. Dalam Training IT Master Plan juga tidak bisa dibangun.

TUJUAN DAN MANFAAT PELATIHAN
Banyak sekali manfaat pelatihan IT Master Plan, antara lain :
Pertama, IT Master Plan menjadi dasar bagi perencanaan perusahaan dalam investasi dan implementasi TI. Dengan demikian, perusahaan tidak lagi sekedar beli ataupun instal, tetapi mempunyai perencanaan yang baik.
Kedua, perusahaan bisa mengurangi berbagai resiko yang mungkin timbul dalam implementasi IT.

Banyak sekali resiko yang mungkin timbul dalam implementasi IT, diantaranya :
• Ketidaksesuaian antara kebutuhan bisnis dengan sistem informasi yang dibangun
• Banyak aplikasi yang tambal sulam, sehingga tidak bisa saling berkomunikasi antara satu dengan yang lain
• Investasi yang dikeluarkan tidak memberikan manfaat seperti yang diharapkan
• Standar kualitas sistem informasi tidak sesuai dengan standar industri yang semestinya.

Dengan adanya perencanaan yang jelas, perusahaan bisa mengelola resiko tersebut dengan baik sejak awal.
Ketiga, IT Master Plan dapat menjadi alat kontrol dan parameter yang efektif untuk mengkaji performa dan keberhasilan implementasi TI di suatu perusahaan. Dalam satu tahun misalnya, perusahaan dapat melihat sistem apa saja yang sudah atau belum diimplementasikan.

DAY 1

1. Overview of Project Management
In this module the participants will learn an overall approach to managing projects. This will provide the context for developing and managing the project budget. Topics will cover:
• Basic definitions
• Common project management processes
• Project phases and life cycles
• Project deliverables
• Roles and responsibilities

2. Developing the project schedule
In this module we will create the overall project schedule and learn how the budget is tied to each individual project activity. Topics will cover:
• Creating the work breakdown structure (WBS)
• Defining the activities
• Adding resources
• Estimating activity durations
• Developing the schedule

Exercise: Participants will be given a simple list of project activities and, in teams, develop the detailed schedule from it.

DAY 2 2

3. Developing the Project Budget
Here the participants will learn how create both high-level budgets at the beginning of the project and the detailed budgets that are necessary for project control.
Topics will cover:
• Top-level budgets
• Detailed budgets
• The S-Curve
• Personnel costing
• Materials and equipment costing
• Adding in overhead
• Management reserves

Exercise: Participants will use the previously-created detailed schedule to create the budget for the project, including the costs of personnel, equipment, materials, and overhead.

4. Controlling the Project Budget
In this module the participants will learn the necessary steps to controlling and managing the project budget. Topics will cover:
• Identifying and managing hours worked
• Tracking equipment and materials costs
• Weekly budget reports
• Work packages and control accounts
• Control Account Plans (CAPS)
• Estimates to Complete (ETC) and Estimates at Completion (EAC)

Case Study: The participants will be given the details of a real project that went considerably past its planned budget and define the reasons for the cost overruns.

Exercise: Developing CAPS for a sample project, including measurement points and tying the CAPS into the organization’s overall accounting system.
DAY 3 2

5. Earned Value Management
In this module the participants will learn that for large, complex projects the most accurate way to track progress is through Earned Value Management. The participants will learn:
• What is EVM?
• Cost and schedule variances
• Cost and schedule performance indices

DESKRIPSI

Project finance merupakan salah satu pendekatan untuk mengoptimalkan return suatu proyek investasi. Pendanaan investasi suatu proyek dengan skema project financing ini berbeda dengan skema pinjaman konvensional dan dipandang lebih memiliki advantages dibandingkan dengan conventional lending. Memahami perbedaan dan kemampuan untuk mengimplementasikannya antara project finance dan coventional lending sangat penting bagi perusahaan yang melakukan investasi suatu proyek. Namun demikian, implementasi project financing dalam prakteknya tidaklah mudah, karena menyangkut lintas disiplin yang harus dikuasai.

Dalam pelatihan ini para peserta akan difasilitasi sehingga mengetahui dan bisa hal-hal berikut ini:

PRINCE2 is in public domain owned by the Cabinet Office in the United Kingdom and a widely recognized de facto standard used extensively by the UK government and in the private sector. PRINCE 2 is based on best practice method sourced from project management professionals.

PRINCE2® (Projects IN Controlled Environments Version 2) is extensively used by the UK Government and is widely recognized in the private sector, both in the UK and internationally. Based on management methodology, PRINCE2® is comprehensive in its approach but flexible in application and offers a structured method to control the start, progress and closure of a project. The PRINCE2® course comprises of Foundation and Practitioner certificates.

Semua proyek selalu memiliki resiko. Oleh karena itu, manajer proyek yang sukses akan menjadi orang yang mengelola risiko secara efektif. Ancaman harus diminimalkan dan peluang dimaksimalkan, tetap menjaga fokus yang jelas pada pencapaian tujuan. Dalam training 3 hari ini, para peserta akan mempelajari proses manajemen risiko berdasarkan PMBOK 2008 dan mempelajari teknik yang dibutuhkan dalam pengelolaan resiko proyek anda.

Selain teori, juga akan dibahas kasus-kasus yang akan diselesaikan dengan pendekatan yang proaktif, pragmatis dan berbasis tindakan. Pelatihan ini juga memberikan tool-tool yang teruji untuk membantu mengatasi kesulitan proyek manager menangani secara efektif manajemen resiko.
