TRAINING OBJECTIVE :

Memberikan karateristik pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya (system) yang menjadi dasar pengenalan terhadap sifat-sifat pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya serta pemahaman tentang dasar perancangan system pemilihan pompa, cara pengoperasian dan perlakuan terhadap pompa sentrifugal beserta instalasinya.
c. Memberikan pengenalan tentang jenis-jenis pompa dan komponen-komponen utama serta karateristiknya yang menjadi dasar pemahaman tentang konstruksi dan daerah (kondisi operasi) pompa. Pemilihan material pompa yang sesuai dengan system dan operasinya.
d. Memberikan dasar cara pengoperasian pompa sentrifugal, cara-cara perawatan dan mengatasi masalah pada pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya.

Assuming that a plant is a body of human being, pumps are the “heart” of the body. Those play very important and vital roles to flow the “blood” of a plant. In every plant or production operation system, we find pumps. However, unlike bolts and nuts, neither industry nor production-operation management will put pumps in stock. It is NOT cost effective and is very uncommon practice to put a complete set of pump in the warehouse stock due to financial reasons.
Therefore, properly specifying, selecting, installing, operating and maintaining pumps are very significant and are very important steps to have “trouble free” during the entire life of the plant operation. Thus, proper maintenance and operation is also the key to reduce the entire cost of the plant and production operation system.
This five-day training will provide a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of pump selection, installation, operation, and maintenance program. The training will concentrate in centrifugal pump as they are the most common one used in the industries and day life.

INSTRUKTUR

Ir. I Nengah Diasta, M.Eng. is graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and till now he is a lecturer at mechanical engineering Bandung Institute of Technology majoring on fluid mechanics and fluid machineries. He has followed many courses for his competencies supporting, such as Application of Pumps and Turbines in Industries, Industrial Application of Fluid Machinery, Drafting of Patent Applications, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Turbo Pumps and Turbines, Application of Turbo Type of Fluid Machinery, Industrial Application of Pumps and Renewable Energies, Effective Energy Systems For Preservation of The Environment, Application of Fluid Machinery Focused on Energy Conservation, and etc.
Ir. I Nengah Diasta, M.Eng. has much experiences in real practical work in project implementation and has collaborated with many institution and companies.

DESKRIPSI

TRAINING OBJECTIVE :
a. Memberikan pengertian dasar tentang teori (hidrolik) yang berkaitan dengan pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya yang akan menjadi dasar pemahaman terhadap prinsip, cara kerja dan karateristik pompa sentrifugal beserta instalasinya (system) dan pengertian tentang gejala-gejala hidrolik yang terjadi pada operasi.
b. Memberikan karateristik pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya (system) yang menjadi dasar pengenalan terhadap sifat-sifat pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya serta pemahaman tentang dasar perancangan system pemilihan pompa, cara pengoperasian dan perlakuan terhadap pompa sentrifugal beserta instalasinya.
c. Memberikan pengenalan tentang jenis-jenis pompa dan komponen-komponen utama serta karateristiknya yang menjadi dasar pemahaman tentang konstruksi dan daerah (kondisi operasi) pompa. Pemilihan material pompa yang sesuai dengan system dan operasinya.
d. Memberikan dasar cara pengoperasian pompa sentrifugal, cara-cara perawatan dan mengatasi masalah pada pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya.
e. Dengan semua hal diatas dan pengalaman peserta, pada akhirnya para peserta pelatihan akan/diharapkan mempunyai kemampuan mengoperasikan system dengan baik, mengenali gejala-gejala yang terjadi selama oparasi, merawat dan mengatasi masalah yang timbul pada operasi, merawat dan mengatasi masalah yang timbul pada operasi system pompa sentrifugal dengan dilengkapi pengertian dasar perancangan system.

1. Dasar Teori Mekanika Fluida (Hidrolik)
– Sifat-sifat fisik fluida (inkompresibel) yang relevan.
– Statika fluida.
– Dasar aliran fluida (inkompresibel).
– Dasar dinamika fluida.
– Dasar proses energi pada fluida.
– Kebutuhan energi (head) pada instalasi.
– Prinsip pemindahan energi dan pompa (kapasitas, head, efisiensi).
– Kombinasi antara instalasi dan pompa.
2. Pemilihan Pompa Sentrifugal dan Instalasinya
– Spesifikasi pompa.
– Pump Perfomance Curve
– Pemilihan pompa (dengan dasar kapasitas, head dan efisiensi pompa).
– Sususan pompa seri dan parallel.
– Analisis pengisapan (kavitasi dan NPSH)
– Perhitungan dasar pompa dan sistem
– Sistem sealing pompa
– Element bantalan (Rolling bearing) pompa sentrifugal
3. Penggunaan dan Pemilihan Material pompa Sentrifugal
– Pompa air bersih
– Pompa air kotor
– Pompa Pemadam kebakaran
– Pompa di Industri Kimia
