Dalam proses procurement di korporasi, seringkali timbul kendala komunikasi dan koordinasi antara team procurement dan team produksi. Banyak faktor yang menyebabkan hal ini terjadi, mulai dari faktor kompetensi, team work, trust, duplikasi tugas dan tanggungjawab, hingga potensi fraud.

Kondisi ini dapat diperbaiki apabila antara team Procurement dan team Produksi tercipta koordinasi kerja yang sinergis, sehingga kedua team ini dapat berkerja sesuai tugas dan tanggungjawabnya masing-masing, sehingga proses procurement dan produksi yang on-schedule, cost effective, dan output yang optimum dapat tercapai.
