NARASUMBER

Dr. Ir. Sudjati Rachmat, DEA graduated from Petroleum Engineering Department of ITB in 1979 and got his Doctorate Degree with honored in 1987 from Ecole Centrale de Lyon I, France . The topic of his thesis is Modelisation Numerique d’Ecoulements Polyphasiques en Milieux Poreux Application au Cas de Calcul des Champs de Pressions et de Saturations dans un Gisement de Petrole.
For the time being, he became a lecturer in Petroleum Engineering Department of ITB. His subjects are Analysis and Numerical Method, Engineering Mathematics, Computer Simulation, Flu id Mechanic, Artificial Intelligence for Petroleum Engineering.
He also gave many courses to the community, such as: basic reservoir engineering and reservoir simulation, basic production engineering, down hole well testing, statistic and numerical method for petroleum engineering, basic log interpretation, etc. He is a member of some profession organization such as: IATMI, SPE/EIME, IMA, HAIAI, FPS-USA, INAGA, and IGA.

I Nengah Diasta is a lecturer in Mechanical Engineering Department of Bandung Institute of Technology for more than 10 years. His expertise is on the area of fluid mechanics and pumping system. He also gives training program to the public such as Pertamina, PT. Pupuk Kaltim, PT. Telkom and some other PSC companies on this subject. On the practical aspects, Mr. Diasta was project leader in the industries such as PT. Telkom, Containers Terminal of Tanjung Priok, Juanda Airport, and Rekayasa-Sumitomo Power Plant Project at Wayang Windu Geothermal field, Bandung.
Ir. Deddy Nugraha is a dedicated experienced fulltime trainer and technical consultant since 2002. He holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from ITB, Bandung. He has worked nationally in a wide variety of industries including: technology, aerospace, utilities, auditing, mining and institutions thus engaged as a corporate consultant. He also holds certifications for those particular fields from Snecma, France; Engine Support Inc., USA; Danobat, Spain; DNV, Singapore; MTU, Germany and FAA Auditor, USA.

Mr. Nugraha is a member of Indonesian Society for Reliability and was elected as General Sectretay for 2004-2007 period. He has trained hundreds of managers, engineers and floor associates, subjects taught to include; CMMS, RCM, TPM, Project Management, Quality Process Control, Corrosion Control and Protection, Failure Analysis, Engineering Design, Instalation & Constrcution, Inventory Control and Management.
Major clients include: Pertamina, British Petroleum, Petrochina, Siemen Power, PT. Indonesia Power, PT. Krakatau Steel, Freeport Indonesia, PT. Surveyor Indonesia, Chevron, Medco Energy, PT. DESKRIPSI

Pumps and compressors are generally critical machines in any production process, and hence it is vital that maintenance is most effective for these units. This course aims to provide delegates with a comprehensive understanding of how to use a combined predictive and preventive maintenance approach to achieve maximum reliability and greatest understanding of any deterioration that may occur.

Who Should Attend
Engineers, supervisory and technical staff involved in the monitoring, predictive maintenance and diagnostics of pumps and compressors.

Program Objectives
The program assumes familiarity with the design and construction of pumps and compressors. From this starting point it adopts an analytical approach to understanding the failure of all types of pumps and compressors.
From a component-by-component perspective, the program investigates the root causes of failure, and relates these to operating conditions and process parameters. Design, installation, lubrication and wear related failure mechanisms are identified and a detailed understanding of the troubleshooting and diagnostic methods needed to detect and identify these is developed.
The program provides participants with the knowledge needed to be effective in the inspection, monitoring and diagnostics of pumps and compressors, with emphasis placed upon the importance of a combined condition monitoring and strip-down inspection approach to maintenance.

Training Methodology
The program is delivered in a combination of lecture style and computer-based training. In addition, a significant amount of time is set aside for small working group activity when addressing case study problems. Extensive use is made of case study material to underline the key aspects of the course and to give the delegates exposure to current best practice.

Peralatan pump and compressor banyak dipergunakan dalam industri perminyakan, pupuk, kimia, semen, pembangkitan dan lain-lain. Pada industri-industri tersebut, peralatan pump and compressor dirancang untuk beroperasi dengan fluida cair dan gas, dan Merupakan bagian penting dalam suatu instalasi.
Dunia industri yang memanfaatkan pump and compressor ini pada umumnya menerapkan standarisasi tinggi untuk sistem pemompaan maupun kompresor dengan tujuan agar dapat beroperasi dengan tingkat safety yang tinggi pula. Tak jarang pump and compressor harus beroperasi dalam kondisi maksimum, bahkan ekstrim yang meningkatkan risiko kecelakaan. Sering kali penyebab kecelakaan serius tersebut adalah kebocoran ataupun ledakan. Kecelakaan di tempat kerja akan mengancam keselamatan pekerja, mengakibatkan kerusakan materi, dan kerusakan lingkungan. TRAINING OBJECTIVE :
a. Memberikan pengertian dasar tentang teori (hidrolik) yang berkaitan dengan pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya yang akan menjadi dasar pemahaman terhadap prinsip, cara kerja dan karateristik pompa sentrifugal beserta instalasinya (system) dan pengertian tentang gejala-gejala hidrolik yang terjadi pada operasi.
b. Memberikan karateristik pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya (system) yang menjadi dasar pengenalan terhadap sifat-sifat pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya serta pemahaman tentang dasar perancangan system pemilihan pompa, cara pengoperasian dan perlakuan terhadap pompa sentrifugal beserta instalasinya.
c. Memberikan pengenalan tentang jenis-jenis pompa dan komponen-komponen utama serta karateristiknya yang menjadi dasar pemahaman tentang konstruksi dan daerah (kondisi operasi) pompa. Pemilihan material pompa yang sesuai dengan system dan operasinya.
d. Memberikan dasar cara pengoperasian pompa sentrifugal, cara-cara perawatan dan mengatasi masalah pada pompa sentrifugal dan instalasinya.
e. DESKRIPSI

The course presents a practical approach to selection, sizing, installation, operation and maintenance of control valves, actuators and pumps. This training course is designed with a total balance between theory and practical examples and will help the participants in better understanding of the control valve functions, testing and maintenance of valves. This course explains the various factors (like fluid characteristics, valve forces, leakage etc) and considerations that govern selection and sizing of control valve and actuator sizing. It also discusses installation, maintenance and verification of actuator appropriateness, be it for liquid, gas or vapor applications. It lays down criteria for selecting an actuator and associated auxiliary devices. Pumps find extensive use in petrochemical process plants, water circulation systems, A/C and heating systems, and many other applications. Right pump selection appropriate to the application and effective performance testing are essential requirements for prolonged machine life. The course provides participants with useful tips, Do’s and Don’ts in carrying out installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of valves, matching of valve / actuator technical specifications and system operational parameters. Emphasis is given on good engineering practices and relevant practical examples. The course also covers important aspects of control valves their maintenance and periodic testing. A successful valueoverhaul is critical in the reliability of the valve when re-installed in the process. Expert tips are included to ensure an efficient overhaul. The course would also cover pump accessories (shaft seal, bearings, lubrication) their selection, care and maintenance.

DESKRIPSI

Pemahaman tentang faktor-faktor konstruksi, operasi, perawatan dan lingkungan yang terkait dengan mesin-mesin Pompa/Kompresor, akan melengkapi kemampuan menjalankan SOP dan merawat Pompa dan Kompresor. Peningkatan pemahaman juga akan membuat para pelaku lapangan dapat memperkirakan prestasi yang akan diberikan Pompa/Kompresor bila terjadi perubahan parameter, seperti beban, konstruksi dan lingkungan sekitar.
