ELECTRICAL INSPECTION

Pemeriksaan Listrik (Electrical Inspection) yang diterapkan di sebuah perusahaan pembangkit merupakan salah satu prosedur untuk menjaga electrical system selalu terantisipasi keamanan dan keselamatannya. Hal ini sangat berkaitan erat dengan pengembangan aspek Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3) yang saat ini menjadi point yang sangat penting untuk diperhatikan. Melalui prosedur yang standard dan penggunaan teknik-teknik yang tepat, dan pemeriksaan secara berkala, electrical tools yang ada akan menjadi lebih terjamin kehandalan, keamanan dan keselamatannya, terutama bagi pekerja dan orang-orang di sekitar lingkungan kerja.
Pemeriksaan Listrik sangat penting untuk dilakukan karena electrical system mengandung potensi bahaya yang tinggi bagi keselamatan tenaga kerja maupun aset yang ada, dan juga karena ketersediaan (reliability) sistem yang harus terjamin setiap saat, karena sistem ini berkaitan dengan banyak pihak & menjadi sebuah kepentingan umum yang krusial. Untuk menjaga hal tersebut, sistem manajemen K3 perusahaan pembangkitan harus benar-benar profesional dengan menggunakan acuan sertifikasi nasional maupun standard internasional seperti standard OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration).
Berkaitan hal tersebut, melalui program pelatihan ini peserta akan diberikan materi tentang prosedur-prosedur Electrical Inspection sesuai dengan standard Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Teknik-teknik dan teknologi yang terkait dengan Pemeriksaan Listrik Industri juga akan diberikan secara detail secara teknis dan aplikatif. Setelah mengikuti pelatihan ini, peserta dapat melakukan Pemeriksaan Listrik Industri secara benar dan aman untuk jaminan sistem yang dikelola khususnya sistem kelistrikan perusahaan.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY

Kecelakaan atau kebakaran yang banyak terjadi di berbagai perusahaan sebagian besar disebabkan oleh listrik. Disamping sebagai sumber energi sebaguna, listrik merupakan sumber inheren berbahaya apabila tidak ditangani secara tepat. Akibat yang paling fatal dari kejadian tersebut adalah jumlah kerugian material yang sangat besar. Sebenarnya hal ini dapat dicegah apabila dalam suatu perusanaan memperhatikan kaidah-kaidah keamanan, khususnya dalam hal ini di bidang electrical, berbagai kerusakan properti dapat dicegah secara efektif.

Berkenaan dengan bahaya-bahaya listrik terhadap pekerja, sudah ada standar tersendiri, yaitu OHSAS yang mewajibkan perusahaan untuk memberikan pendidikan dan pelatihan Electrical Safety kepada pekerjanya. Adapun pekerja wajib memberitahu perusahaan melalui atasannya (supervisor) apabila menemukan bahaya-bahaya listrik di area perusahaan. Diharapkan dengan mengikuti program pelatihan “Electrical Safety”, dan didukung oleh instruktur yang berkompeten di bidangnya, pekerja dapat mengetahui informasi-informasi untuk penggunaan electrical secara aman dan mengerti bahaya-bahaya listrik di tempat kerja sehingga perusahaan akan terhindar dari kecelakaan fatal di lingkungan kerja, meminimalisir sampai menghilangkan kerugian-kerugian besar akibat kebakaran ataupun kejadian fatal tersebut, serta dapat membantu melaksanakan program di bidang keselamatan listrik (Electrical safety) di tempat kerja.
