INSTRUKTUR

Dr.Ir. Sutanto Hadisupadmo.MT.,IPM is a lecturer at Physics Engineering Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and has been as a Head of Laboratory of Industrial Instrumentation at ITB. He is former Director of Instrumentation Center and Technical Services of ITB. His education started at Engineering Physics, Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB-1977), then at Diplome Universite in Energetique, Universite de Prepignan, France (1985), Magister Engineering in Instrumentation and Control (ITB) and Doctor (ITB). He has over 20 years of experience doing training, consulting work in instrumentation, measurement, safety and process control and Mr. Sutanto has trained many training/courses for many companies in Indonesia such as PT. TOTAL Indonesie, Pertamina, PT. Petrokimia Gresik, PT. Badak LNG, PT. Pupuk Iskandar Muda, PT. Pupuk Kaltim, PT. Jaya Ancol and many others. As professional he has handled many projects in Instrumentation Process, Tools Evaluation, Transmitter, General Evaluation of Instrumentation Specification, Commercial Building Power Audit, Maintenance Management Evaluation, etc. To get more advance information and knowledge he has participated in domestic and overseas training, seminar, workshop and conference as participant or speakers.

DESKRIPSI

Process control is automation system implemented in industrial plant. Process control, instrumentation and metering system are discussed in this training. Control strategies that is commonly or always used in industry is PID,three terms control,but for some reasons PID is not enough so advanced strategies is promoted to change the single PID. Other algorithms of control is can be used to handle special cases that can not be handled by PID, for example MPC/model predictive control, that based on model of system tha will be controlled, and applicated to system more complex or MIMO/multiple input multiple output. Implementation of advanced control strategies is in controller, for example in Distributed Control System(DCS). Throught this training participants will know advanced process control and also instrumentation and metering.
